Lyrics:
Just a small town girl
Livin’ in a complex world
She can’t help but believe in everything
Kevin Trudeau poised
Looking for a cheap exploit
He is willing to sell people anything
Sylvia Browne tries
To bait you with her psychic lies
Even though she’s wrong she goes on and on and on and on.
Crackpots…waiting
To expose the government
Twin Towers…falling to soon
Misled people
Looking for anomalies and
Thinking we didn’t go to the moooooooooooooooon
Not thinking hard to get my fill
Of bogus placebo pills
I’d pay anything to be deceived just one more time
Some lame story in the news
Reporters don’t look for clues
Credulity never ends
It goes on and on and on and on
Zealots trying
Just to disregard the science
Claiming the earth isn’t so old
Foolish people
Saying the earth isn’t warming
Since last week it was so coooooooooold
Don’t start believin’
Until you see some reason
Its a streetlight, people
Not a ufo-oh-oh
Don’t start believin’
Hang on to your reason
Its a streetlight, people
not a ufo-oh- oh

Sigh. When will Sony learn?

Thanks for the link 🙂
I wonder if TRC could do a segment on copyright law around musical parodies, I know I find it pretty confusing myself and I heard that shows like Glee would be illegal for a real school to try and do, but I’m not sure if thats a myth or not. Similar to that fad on facebook about claiming copyright to your photographs , it’s hard to know what is legal or not.
Love the idea!
