It’s all about parents and babies this week for a good reason. First Cristina explores the science of mother’s milk and asks whether some breastfeeding advocates take things too far. Bonus: a very tired Adam gives us an update. Next, Darren examines whether parents are more or less happy than people without children.

Breastfeeding: Join the Boob-o-lution!
Are Parents Less Happy?
I think it would be interesting to compare the happiness of:
1. parents who wanted kids,
2. non-parents who want kids but are failing to get them,
3. people who don’t want kids and get them anyway, and
4. people who don’t want kids and don’t have them.
I think with these numbers (and controlling for other variables) you can better calculate the effect of having kids on happiness, controlling for desire for children.
