So I,m listening to your reference to the South China Morning post. And oddly that topic seems weirdly familiar. So I had to figure out why…

First, you get your science news from the South China Morning Post?! Come on! Get with the times, get your science news from Northern China Afternoon Times…

But I figured it out, I’m a returning old school MMA (UFC) fan. Their is a joke regarding how “Wonderboy” managed to not pass out in a tight choke against Woodley. The joke is he mastered the ancient art of breathing from your but hole!

On another note, returning to MMA, I was shocked to learn that the jokes about Deigo Shanchez and his “cornerman”,”coach” were serious. I was not expecting in this day that someone like Jushua Fabia still exists in modern combat sports. MMA was supposed to clear out this kind of stuff out of martial arts. Videos of his “training” and rambling audio on various podcasts. More like cult leader. It’s actually disturbing. It finally ended and Fabio would do a text book example of gaslighting. I shake my head on so many levels about this story.

On another note, returning to MMA, the very last guy I expected would pop up. Former kickboxer Don “the Dragon”Wilson recently made some comments on the old Bloodsport movie. (Ramsey Dewey made a video on this topic) And guess which senile old man had to respond. Frank Dux! You would think in this day he would stick to his nonsensical ramblings at the retirement home about the “kumite” along with grandpa Simpson ramblings about “So, I tied an onion to my belt which was the style at the time.”

I consider MMA as critical to modernizing martial arts so it it is disappointing to hear non humorous anecdotes still popping up these days.

The breathing via the anus thing actually makes a lot of sense to me because I know a lot of people who are always taking out of their ass. Thanks for another excellent episode.
