Happy Spring, Checkers! Pat kicks off the show with one of his fun deep dives and looks into a suspicious online video of an amusement park ride that has gone viral to the tune of over 100 million views. Next up, Darren follows up on his segment from last week to answer ‘why do so many Egyptian statues have broken noses?’ Finally, Adam examines whether or not the police could track you down using a DNA database and ponders the implications.

Enjoyed the episode
The Tim Nowak part was funny, especially the 14 hour bladder busting ferris wheel.
Adam, you could check DNA phenotyping out next. https://snapshot.parabon-nanolabs.com
Cool! I’ve seen this kind of stuff in TV and movies. Curious to see how it stacks up to reality.
I wasn’t too impressed with the samples they showed on the website but it might get better over time as they continue to identify what is associated with a specific facile feature.
It can’t account for plastic surgery, heavy tans, buck teeth, scars, etc.
What I found suspicious about the samples is how accurate they seem to be about their haircuts.
