TRC #520: Did We Get Banksied? + UN Climate Change Report + Did Taylor Swift Increase Voter Registration?

Your weekly dose of fun and facts is here! We definitely had a lot of laughs taping the show this week. First, Producer Pat points his skeptical lens at the recent Banksy incident rocking the Art World to find out if Sotheby’s really got pranked, or did we all just get Banksied? Darren brings the panel’s mood way down with an overview of the bleak reality reported in the recent UN Climate Change Report. The panel shakes it off long enough for Adam to give us an objective analysis of whether the uptick in voter registration in the U.S. can be attributed to pop star Taylor Swift.

  1. Paul Andrews says:

I sent you all an E-mail at or before the 27th of December about Beans. Thank you for your response.
I did however think of another question I’ve wondered about; And that is the issue of drinking water; In particular bottled water. The Prescription for Nutritional healing recommends drinking distilled water; saying “Once consumed, Steamed distilled water leaches inorganic materials that have been rejected by the cells and tissues out of the body. We believe that only steam distilled water should be consumed”. (1993 edition top of page 25)
Other people told me that Steam distilled water is bad for you because it has no minerals in it. One person said that it ‘s only good for auto batteries when the acid goes too low.
I used to try and drink distilled water as much as I could. However my doctor told me that as long as it’s from the tap and your tap is safe, your organs (liver and kidneys) should do fine in filtering out the bad stuff in the water you drink
Since you plan on having the Food scientist Dr. Stuart Farrimond on the show, would you also please address this question and concern to him as well.
    Thank you
