Elan then looks into eye colour and whether or not it is true that two blue eyed parents cannot have a brown eyed child. Blue eyes originated in Turkey , it’s a fairly well known fact.
To here you talk about a Turk with blue eyes and to act quite dismissive was frustrating to listen to. I love you guys and you’re usually so thorough, but a minor fail this time.
Thanks for the tip. I won’t tell her to listen to the show as Elan suggested then.
Just to let you know that we mentioned your feedback in the latest show.

Thanks guys – another interesting podcast.
Myth and counter-myth: blue eyes originated in what is now Turkey. So, possibly, did the Indo-European languages but that doesn’t make Turkish Indo-European. There were no Turks there until well into medieval times. A modern-day Turk with blue eyes likely has mixed ancestry.
Or contact lenses.
